Fla. Admin. Code Ann. R. 20-48.002 - Participant Eligibility
(1) By definition,
a "participant" in this program must be a licensed and registered fresh fruit
shipper, sales agency or growers' cooperative, engaged in the shipment of fresh
Florida grapefruit to domestic (U.S. only) retail markets.
(2) Brokers shall not be eligible to
participate in this program.
(3) To
participate, a shipper must fill out and return to the Department, by August
20, a Targeted VAP Sign-Up Form cit/mktg/150/ eff. 8/1/99, incorporated herein
by reference, which will be made available to all eligible shippers by the
Department of Citrus.
(4) Shippers
wishing to assign their allocated program dollars to a licensed and registered
sales agency or growers' cooperative must fill out and return to the Department
by August 20, a Targeted VAP Delegation Form cit/mktg/151/ eff. 8/1/99,
incorporated herein by reference, which will be made available to all eligible
shippers by the Department of Citrus; the Delegation form may serve in lieu of
the Sign-up form.
