Sec. 14.

(a) The owner or operator of a noncommunity water system granted permission by the commissioner under 327 IAC 8-2-4(b) to exceed the nitrate MCL must provide notice to persons served according to the requirements for a Tier 1 notice under section 8 of this rule.

(b) Noncommunity water systems granted permission by the commissioner to exceed the nitrate MCL under 327 IAC 8-2-4(b) must provide continuous posting of the:

(1) fact that nitrate levels exceed ten (10) milligrams per liter; and

(2) potential health effects of exposure;

in accordance with the requirements for Tier 1 notice delivery under section 8 of this rule and the content requirements under section 11 of this rule.
