465 IAC 2-8-13 - Local guardianship assistance program

Sec. 13.

(a) A county office may, with the approval of the juvenile court in the county, establish and operate a local program for financial assistance to a guardianship established as a permanency plan for a child in need of services pursuant to IC 31-34-21-7.5(c)(1)(E), supplemental to the assisted guardianship program established under this rule and financed through any funds available to the department for that purpose.
(b) A local program established in accordance with this section shall be evidenced by a written plan containing eligibility standards and assistance guidelines that is approved by the county director and juvenile court.
(c) A copy of the local program plan shall be submitted to the department. The director of the department may request any modification of the plan that, in the opinion of the director, is necessary to prevent any conflict with the program established under this rule.
