844 IAC 11-1-4 - "Direct supervision" defined

Sec. 4.

"Direct supervision" means that the supervising physician shall be reasonably available and responsible at all times for the direction and the actions of the practitioner being supervised when services are being performed by the practitioner. The patient's care shall always be the responsibility of the supervising physician.
