Kan. Admin. Regs. § 4-10-6b - Transfers; tank cars and transport trucks; additional requirements
In addition to the transfer requirements in K.A.R. 4-10-6a, each transfer from a tank car or transport truck shall meet the following requirements:
(a) Except when loading into implements of
husbandry or reactor units, tank cars and transport trucks shall be unloaded
only through a permanently installed loading point and into a permanent storage
container.
(b) A sign reading
"Stop-Tank Car Connected" shall be displayed at the active end or ends of the
siding while the tank car is connected for unloading.
(c) While tank cars are on a side track for
unloading, the wheels at both ends shall be blocked on the rails.
