Nev. Admin. Code § 484D.190 - Exemptions

1. NAC 484D.190 to 484D.215, inclusive, do not apply to vehicles equipped with off-highway type tires that are only incidentally or occasionally operated on a highway. These vehicles include, but are not limited to, the following:
(a) Farm tractors and other instruments of husbandry ordinarily used off-highway, including all instruments towed by a farm tractor; and
(b) Road construction and maintenance machinery such as asphalt graders, leveling graders, finishing machines, motor graders, earth-moving carryalls and scrapers, and earth-moving equipment.
2. Except for the exemptions in subsection 1, NAC 484D.190 to 484D.215, inclusive, apply to implements of husbandry as defined in NRS 484D.020, special mobile equipment as defined in NRS 484A.245, and any other vehicle operated on the highways of this State if the implements, equipment or other vehicles are equipped with pneumatic tires designed for highway operation.
