34 Pa. Code § 231.101a - Minimum wage increase
(a) Under
section 4(a.1) of the act (43 P.S. §
333.104(a.1)), an employer shall pay at least
$7.25 an hour to all employees for all hours worked subject to exclusions and
exemptions contained in the act and this chapter.
(b) The minimum wage for tipped employees is
$2.83 per hour under section 3(d) of the act (43 P.S. §
333.103(d)) with all of the
following conditions:
(1) An employer shall
pay the difference when the employee's tips plus the hourly wage for tipped
employees does not meet the minimum wage contained in subsection (a) in this
Commonwealth.
(2) The tip credit
applies only if an employee received over $135 in tips for a
month.
