8 Va. Admin. Code § 20-671-120 - Assessment of application
A. The
department shall evaluate each application within 60 calendar days from the
date received and advise the applicant in writing of approval or
deficiencies.
B. The applicant
shall correct all deficiencies within 30 calendar days from the date of the
written assessment of the application. The department may grant an extension
for a reasonable period of time.
C.
The department shall conduct a review of the character, reputation, and status
with other licensing agencies, and the responsibility of the applicant before
issuing a license.
D. The
department may require the applicant to meet with department staff before final
approval of the application.
